Squires Legal Consultants has been serving the Udon Thani community for over 10 years. And, it is not so much about Squires Legal Consultants as about the companies managing director, Mrs. Chuthamat Squires known to almost everyone as Roong.

When Roong finished her education she and her sister went into the family business, a major construction company, specializing in roads and large commercial projects. It was a good grounding for a naturally gifted communicator. But, it was only a grounding, while her sister went on to be Thailand’s Director of Construction, Roong went into the insurance business.

As everyone expected Roongs award-winning career took her to the upper echelons of the insurance business. At her senior management level, part of Roongs remit was to teach insurance law. Unfortunately for the world of insurance Roong decided to follow her heart and move into the legal profession.

Roong had learned from her time in the construction industry that correct preparation was vital. That knowledge took her to one of Thailand’s top universities, the law degree she attained there became the catalyst to Squires Legal Consultants. 10 years on and Squires managing director still studies. Always looking to keep abreast of Thailand’s ever-changing laws and improve her lawyer skills.
